How to make Bread halwa


Ingredients


  • 3 to 4 bread slices
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup boiled milk
  • 1/2 tsp elaichi powder
  • Raisins and cashewnuts

Preparation method


  • In a deep pan heat ghee and fry the bread slices till the colour changes to golden brown.
  • Cut bread into small pieces.
  • In another pan heat milk and add sugar, elaichi powder.
  • Then add the bread slices to it.
  • Keep stirring till the bread slices absorbs the milk and becomes soft.
  • Bread halwa is ready, allow it to cool and garnish with raisins, cashew nuts.
