Ingredients
- 3 to 4 bread slices
- 4 tsp sugar
- 1 cup boiled milk
- 1/2 tsp elaichi powder
- Raisins and cashewnuts
Preparation method
- In a deep pan heat ghee and fry the bread slices till the colour changes to golden brown.
- Cut bread into small pieces.
- In another pan heat milk and add sugar, elaichi powder.
- Then add the bread slices to it.
- Keep stirring till the bread slices absorbs the milk and becomes soft.
- Bread halwa is ready, allow it to cool and garnish with raisins, cashew nuts.
