Pala Undrallu (Rice flour dumplings in milk)
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup rice flour
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh coconut grated
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
PREPARATION METHOD:
- Boil 2 cups of water.
- Add rice flour and mix well. Cover and let it cook for 2-3 mins more.
- Turn off heat and let it cool.
- After it gets cooled make small balls and keep aside.
- In another vessel add water, sugar and bring to boil. Now add milk and keep stirring.
- Reduce heat and add the grated coconut and rice flour balls.
- Mix well and Cook for 5 mins.
- Sprinkle crushed elaichi powder.
- The consistency should be a slightly thick syrup.
- Switch off the flame and serve.
- Now pala undrallu is ready to offer Lord Vinayaka.
