Pala Undrallu (Rice flour dumplings in milk)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar 
  • 1 cup fresh coconut grated 
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

PREPARATION METHOD:

  • Boil 2 cups of water.
  • Add rice flour and mix well. Cover and let it cook for 2-3 mins more.
  • Turn off heat and let it cool.
  • After it gets cooled make small balls and keep aside.
  • In another vessel add water, sugar and bring to boil. Now add milk and keep stirring.
  • Reduce heat and add the grated coconut and rice flour balls. 
  • Mix well and Cook for 5 mins.
  • Sprinkle crushed elaichi powder.
  • The consistency should be a slightly thick syrup.
  • Switch off the flame and serve. 
  • Now pala undrallu is ready to offer Lord Vinayaka.
