How to make Capsicum Masala Curry?


  • 4 Capsicums
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 cup Grated Cocunut
  • 2 Green Cardomom
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 1/2 tsp Oil
  • 3 Cloves
  • 1 Onion
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves

Procedure to make Capsicum Masala Curry?

  1. Cut Capsicum into 1 inch pieces and shallow fry this in a little oil, remove and keep it aside.
  2. Roast coriander, peanuts, sesame seeds and coconut. Then graind them into a smooth paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds fry it add the cumin seeds and the chopped onions to it.
  4. Add the turmeric and ginger garlic paste. After a little while add the red chilli powder and fry till the oil separates.
  5. Grind the cocunut with cinnamon, cloves, cardomom and make a paste of it.
  6. Now add this paste to the onions in the pan. Add the coriander powder along with it.
  7. Now, add the shallow fried capsicum to it and mix it up well.
  8. Simmer the flame so that all the masalas will cook with the capcium for another 15 min.
  9. Garnish with Coriander leaves.
