Ingredients:
- 1 cup Black Sesame seeds (Nuvvulu)
- 1 cup Jaggery
- 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
- Ghee or oil as required.
Preparation :
- Roast sesame seeds on medium flame until they crackle then keep them aside.
- Now add half cup of water to the jaggery and heat. When the jaggery melts filter it.
- Now heat the jaggery water in a pan and make a thick syrup on low flame.
- To check syrup, when you take a bit and put it in water, you should be able to make a ball of it.
- Once the syrup is ready, add the roasted sesame seeds, cardamom powder and ghee and mix well.
- Set aside for few minutes and shape into small round balls.
- Store in a airtight container.
