Black Sesame Seeds Ladoo

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Black Sesame seeds (Nuvvulu)
  • 1 cup Jaggery
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Ghee or oil as required.

Preparation :

  • Roast sesame seeds on medium flame until they crackle then keep them aside.
  • Now add half cup of water to the jaggery and heat. When the jaggery melts filter it.
  • Now heat the jaggery water in a pan and make a thick syrup on low flame.
  • To check syrup, when you take a bit and put it in water, you should be able to make a ball of it.
  • Once the syrup is ready, add the roasted sesame seeds, cardamom powder and ghee and mix well.
  • Set aside for few minutes and shape into small round balls.
  • Store in a airtight container.
