How to make Palakayalu


  • 2 Cups Rice flour
  • 1tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1tsp Salt
  • Oil to fry


  1. Add Rice flour, Cumin seeds, chilli powder, butter and salt and mix it well. Add little water to make nice dough.
  2. Dough should not be very soft. Keep it aside for 30 minutes covered.
  3. Now make the dough into little small sized balls and put them in a plate, let it dry for a moment.
  4. Heat oil in a wide vessel for deep frying. Deep fry the dough balls in hot oil until they are golden brown in color.
