Jaggery-Wheat flour Dosa Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • ½ cup jaggery 
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee (to make the dosas)

PREPARATION OF JAGGERY DOSA:

  • Melt the jaggery on medium heat in a cup of water.When jaggery gets dissolved,strain the jaggery syrup and remove the impurities.
  • Now mix the flour with jaggery water,mashed banana,cardamom powder,salt.Mix well without any lumps.
  • This batter should be in the consistency of our normal dosa batter.
  • Heat the dosa pan ,add a little ghee and pour a laddle full of batter and spread into a circular shape.
  • Add a little ghee around the edges of dosa and cook till golden brown. 
  • Turn and cook the other side till done.Remove from flame.
  • Jaggery dosa or Sweet dosa is ready.
