Jaggery-Wheat flour Dosa Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup wheat flour
- ½ cup jaggery
- 1 banana
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- Salt to taste
- Ghee (to make the dosas)
PREPARATION OF JAGGERY DOSA:
- Melt the jaggery on medium heat in a cup of water.When jaggery gets dissolved,strain the jaggery syrup and remove the impurities.
- Now mix the flour with jaggery water,mashed banana,cardamom powder,salt.Mix well without any lumps.
- This batter should be in the consistency of our normal dosa batter.
- Heat the dosa pan ,add a little ghee and pour a laddle full of batter and spread into a circular shape.
- Add a little ghee around the edges of dosa and cook till golden brown.
- Turn and cook the other side till done.Remove from flame.
- Jaggery dosa or Sweet dosa is ready.
