Orange cake recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 tbsp Oil or Ghee
  • 1 cup Orange pulp (de-seeded)
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 4 drops Vanilla essence
  • 1/4 cup Milk (optional)
  • Tooty fruity for garnishing

METHOD:



  1. Sieve the flour, add baking powder mix well and keep aside.
  2. Take a bowl add powdered sugar, oil (or ghee), milk, eggs, essence. Mix all the ingredients with blender till dissolve the sugar.
  3. Then add the mixed flour and mix well till the mixture turns fluffy.
  4. Now add orange pulp and tooty fruity.
  5. Take a wide bottomed bowl and grease it with oil. Pour the cake mixture into this.
  6. Now put in cooker. Make sure don't add water and don't put whistle.
  7. Keep cooker in low flame for 20 to 25 minutes.
  8. Turn off heat and check with knife or tooth pick.
  9. Transfer the cake into the serving plate.
  10. Orange cake is ready.
