Cabbage Tomato chutney recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- ½ Cabbages
- 3 Tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Tamarind pulp
- Salt as per taste
- 2 Green chillies
For seasoning:
- 3 teaspoonOil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon Urad dal
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- Few curry leaves
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
- Chop the cabbage & tomato into medium pieces and keep them aside.
- Take a pan adds some oil and heat it.
- Add green chillies then chopped cabbage and saute for few minutes till they turn into light brown color.
- After the cabbage is almost done, add the chopped tomato and saute.
- Then add salt, and tamarind pulp as per taste and let the mixture cool.
- In a separate pan, heat a teaspoon of oil, add mustard seeds and as they pop, add urad dal, cummin seeds, curry leaves.
- Add the blended cabbage tomato mix to this tamper and stir well. Cook for another minute on low heat.
- Serve it with hot rice and ghee.
