Blend wheat flour, salt, butter, oil, and water together in large bowl.
Use one hand to mix the flour and add water little by little in a rotating motion from the center of the bowl outward, until the firm dough is moist enough to be gathered into a rough mass.
Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
Take a small ball and roll them into thin flat roti.
Cut them into stripes and then to diamonds again (spread some oil on the roti before cutting into diamonds for better crispness).
Heat plenty of oil in a kadhai until very hot.
Now deep fry them in hot oil until brown and crisp. If they puff up when frying, mildly press them with the laddle and it will diminish.
Remove it and drain on paper towels. Repeat the procedure for remaining all.
Delicious, tasty and healthy Wheat Chips ready.
You can sprinkle black salt over the chips just before serving or simply serve. If you make bigger diamonds, serve with sweet chilli sauce as dip.
